The finest ingredients make the best wood fired pizzas
At The Wood Fired Pizza Company we only use the finest ingredients for our pizzas. Why? Because we want to make the best possible pizza.
Most of our ingredients are shipped directly from Italy, including San Marzano DOP tomatoes, Caputo OO flour and fior di latte mozzarella with the remainder sourced from in and around Sheffield where possible. For toppings we use fresh, locally produced seasonal vegetables, which is why our menu changes throughout the year.
We make our own meatballs and sausage using locally reared meat that we grind ourselves, and we can even create sausages personalised to your tastes. All of our hams and salamis are made by some of the leading independent Italian producers, which we then hand slice.
For our healthy and authentic Neapolitan dough, we only use Caputo OO flour, fresh yeast, salt and water. We shape and proof our dough after at least two days of cold fermentation to allow for the maximum flavour development and to create the perfect pizza crust.
